WHY LEUKAEMIA UK?
A personal note from the founder -
“I met my partner while living in London. We made plans to move to Australia to start our next chapter there together and had booked flights to go in February 2022. However in January, our world was turned upside down when he was suddenly diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. We had no idea what this meant.
We still have a long way to go but thankfully, at the hands of our very capable and caring doctors and nurses, he is now in remission and on his way back to full health.
Having Leukaemia UK as our charity partner is very personal and important to us. We especially want to support the research into leukaemia so that there can one day be a cure for this devastating blood cancer.”
WHERE IT STARTED
Padded Pawpaw was brought to life in the UK by founder Stephanie, an Australian living in London through the pandemic.
“Spending so much time indoors during this uncertain period challenged me to come up with ways to brighten up and bring warmth and happiness to my space. Not only did I desire colour and fun prints, I also craved comfort.”
